Brian Perry

| Brian first joined the lab in the fall of 1996. His MA thesis research consisted of preparing a monograph on the Mycena of California. Brian received his PhD from Harvard University in May 2006. His dissertation studies with Dr. Donald H. Pfister focused on the phylogenetic realtionships the large discomycete family Pyronemataceae (Pezizales). Brian has recently returned to San Francisco State University as a postdoctoral associate, working with Dr. Desjardin on an NSF funded project studying the molecular systematics and evolution of the mycenoid fungi. |
