Coprinus lagopus

	On Hawai`i, C. lagopus, the Woolly Inky Cap, is quite common on woodchips
and compost used as mulch in horticultural areas. It is easily recognized by the copious
white scales on a dark grey pileus and as with other Coprinus species, a deliquescent
hymenophore.
